What you need to know about our claim services. There are five basic steps in the claims process.

1. Accident or property loss occurs

2. The customer reports the claim in one of two ways:

  • Calling toll free 1-800-421-3535
  • Contacting their agent

3. Each Claim is individually handled by a claims professional

4. A Claims professionally can:

  • Contact the customer to verify data on the claim
  • Answer any questions the policyholder may have
  • Confirm Coverage
  • Obtain claims documents and initiate any necessary investigation of the claim
  • Establish the amount of claims damages to be paid
  • Authorize payments according to policy conditions
